She leaves an infant child, a husband, father, mother, brothers and sisters and a host of friends to mourn her. The bereaved relatives have the sincere sympathy of the community. Interment took place at the family burial ground at Bethel M.E. Church, Zorah Monday evening."3 She was buried at High Bridge Cemetery, Caton, Craven County, North Carolina. She was reinterred at Knox Cemetery, Caton, Craven County, North Carolina.
